AGM to appoint the Ambassador Board

The aim is that an Ambassador Board will be formed with two key objectives:

• 1. To support the Ambassador Programme and to help make it a fantastic

programme for young volunteers

• 2. To support the wider objectives of Youth Employment UK and act as a sounding

board to the senior leadership team Board Roles: Chair, Secretary, Policy Officer, Activity Officer, 3 x Member Roles Nominations: Patrick Cantellow (chair), Deuvaunn Darroux (policy), Sam Gillion (activity), Harvey Morton (member), Nadia Zemori (member), George Greaves (member)

How we can help employers support more young people in schools Young people really benefit from hearing from employers when they are at school, workshops, assemblies, careers fairs are all great

• activities. So how can we help employers want to do more and

ensure the quality is good for all young people?

Similarly to the work experience project we are going to do the following:

• Interview some young people for their views
• Do a survey with some employers
• Look at the policy in this area
• Create some best practice tips and advice for our employer

community

We need you!! All ambassadors are invited to get involved in this project. Ideally we would like an Ambassador to lead each of the four strands

• youth voice, employers, policy, resources

As a lead you will work with other ambassadors and me to ensure we deliver another great project that helps employers and young people!
