Thank you!
You are the living stones that build our church.
“One unique circumstance that has shaped Holy Innocents is its
- location. Historically remote, the
Snoqualmie Valley communities have cultivated self-sufficient, community-oriented parishioners who rely on their
- wn initiative to get things done.”
- Most Reverend Alex J. Brunett
[excerpt from a letter to Holy Innocents in 1999)

In order to facilitate these kind of encounters with Christ, we need and use resources. THERE ARE TWO BUDGETS: 1) OPERATING BUDGET (annual stewardship) 2) CAPITAL BUDGET (building-related such as the Living Stones campaign)
FINANCIAL FACTS
Operating Budget
- Revenue for operating
budget is received through “ordinary income” – the generous contributions of parishioners.
- Holy Innocents collects
about $31,000 per month for operating expenses.
- Operating expenses total
about $30,000 per month. Capital Budget
- Revenue for the capital
budget is received entirely through capital campaign pledges.
- These funds are directed
specifically to paying off our loan.
- These funds are over &
above regular operating expenses.
THE BUILDING LOAN
- It cost $5.1 million to build Holy Innocents
Church.
- The original loan was for $3,731,127.
- The difference between building cost and loan
was from the sale of old church, fundraising and savings.
THE BUILDING LOAN
- The loan is financed through the Archdiocese
- f Seattle at a flat interest rate of 6.75%.
- Holy Innocents is 7 years into a 30-year loan.
- The remaining mortgage is $3,310,000.
- Monthly payments are $24,200.
THE MORE WE RAISE THE LESS WE PAY
RAISING $1.5 Million
- Raising $1.5 million funds
the minimum payment.
- The minimum payment
keeps the parish on course to pay off the loan in 2037. RAISING $2 Million
- Raising $2 million will
accelerate payments and shorten term of loan by 92 months (7 ½ years!).
- Raising the $2 million can
save Holy Innocents almost $1 million interest payments.
