Curriculum – Econ 102 Questions

Do I have to take Econ 102 at UM Ann Arbor? Once you start at Ross on Sept 8, 2015 you must complete Econ 102 at UM Ann Arbor. Can I take Econ 102 over the summer? Yes, but be sure that the course is equivalent by visiting the transfer equivalency site. No online classes allowed. Must be completed by Sept 7, 2015. Can I take Econ 102 at a community college? Yes, students may complete Econ 102 at an accredited community college regardless of credits completed – new policy effective Spring 2014. Can I take Econ 102 Pass/Fail? Technically yes, but consider choice carefully. Pass/fail is usually reserved for classes outside your major, and Econ 102 is closely connected to your major.

Ross Exchange and Global Experiences

Global Practicum/Immersion/Intern Info Sessions & Application Deadline: Fall

  • Global Practicum: students focus on a specific theme, industry, or issue

throughout winter semester and conduct relevant fieldwork abroad during spring break.

  • Global Immersion: short-term international courses that provide students

with opportunities to actively engage in specific global business topics with leaders in the field. Travel May or August

  • Global Study and Intern: include a two-week business and culture course
  • n-site followed by an eight-week internship at a top organization or

multinational company. Travel May-July Global Undergraduate Exchange – Winter of Junior year

  • Opportunity to study at one of our 19 partner universities in 15 countries.

Our exchange partnerships allow students to learn about business from a different perspective, experience another culture, and network with students, faculty, and professionals from around the world.
