Hardware: CPU Xeon E-3 1230v5 3.4 GHz, RAM DDR4 32 Gb and higher. Storage: Depends on the number of cameras, stream quality, and video archive storage requirements:
- 10 GB of free disk space per 1 Mbps camera per day (20 GB of free disk space per 2 Mbps
camera per day etc.)
For example, you need 70 GB to store a video archive for seven days if you have one 1 Mbps camera.
This server configuration fits to support up to 500 cameras with 1 Mbps stream and 250 cameras with 2 Mbps. It implies that failover and mosaics are turned off, and no other software is running.
