Transcoder

Flussonic Media Server includes a built-in transcoder for video streams. It’s necessary to start a satellite TV for online broadcasting, to online channel for satellite transmission, or to make the multi-bitrate stream from the published video. The transcoder supports h264, mpeg2, HEVC (h265) inputs, and h264, mpeg2, HEVC (h265) outputs.


The transcoding process can run on this hardware:

The Cluster Ingest mechanism allows you to create a transcoding reserve. If one server fails, the others will take the load.
