Imagine a line of strong, effective cleaning products made of nothing more than salt, water, and an electrical charge. Through the process
activation, the salt water is transformed into anolyte, a disinfectant that in appropriate concentrations, is gentle enough to wash bacteria from a wound and powerful enough to remove mold and mildew stains from the exterior of your home.

The history behind the development of what we refer to today as anolyte water begins with an English scientist named Michael Faraday and his Laws of Electrolysis developed around 1834. His work on electrolysis opened the door for the creation of the naturally occurring biocide, hypochlorous acid, through an electrochemical reaction.

Envirocleanse A Anolite Solution is the result of a chemical reaction in salt water created through electrochemical activation. The active ingredient in the resulting solution is hypochlorous acid (HOCI), a naturally occurring acid, also found in the human body’s response to fighting
acid in Envirocleanse A can serve much the same purpose
the naturally occurring acid does inside the human body.

Envirocleanse LLC was founded in 2007 by
a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to harsh and, in many cases, toxic disinfectants that were commonly being used in multiple industries.

In August 2015, Envirocleanse LLC was sold to Charter Brokerage (a division of Berkshire Hathaway) to expand its efforts into additional markets.

Compared to other commonly used disinfectants today, Anolyte does not contain any xenobiotic (synthetically produced) chemicals, and most importantly does not have any harmful effects on humans or warm blooded animals. The EPA has designated Anolyte with the lowest possible category of toxicity, compared to all other disinfectants currently in use, such as glutaraldehyde, chloramine, sodium hypochlorite (bleach), per acetic acid, quaternary ammonium products, THPS and others.

Anolyte has a unique, and complex mode of action as an antimicrobial. Independent laboratory testing has shown Envirocleanse 500 is an effective, hard-surface, disinfecting agent against bacteria & virus (including e-coli, listeria, salmonella, etc.), viruses (including polio, H1N1, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, etc. and Noro viruses – feline and murine) , fungi (including mycobacterium TB) and spores. It has an effect ONLY on microbes, not humans or other warm blooded animals.
