The Journey Continues - E Learning ● Issued at the start of March and to date 435 have completed the online course out of just over ● 630 registered on the internal Ground Control system
Health Surveillance ● At the end of the on line training Module there is a health surveillance questionnaire based on the based on the model that is set out in Hand Arm Vibration Regulations 2005. ● The medical assessment is reviewed by a trained competent person that will sign post to occupational health anybody who is showing signs of HAVS or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Further training ● Ground Control have sent three Health & Safety Managers on the Human Vibration Competent Person Training Course ● Robust Health Surveillance programme ● On-site coaching and education ● Client education on the alternatives ● Selection of tools for the task ● Work Planning – tool selection, operator exposure time, staff requirements and job rotation
Product Purchases and New Tech Ground Control have purchased 4 Reactec HAVWear wrist monitors. These monitors are in use across the whole of the business and only perform the duty of sampling trigger times and for highlighting to the teams the possible exposure
New Technology Ground Control Roadshows Manufacturer platforms to show the advances in battery technology Trade stands enabled teams to see first hand and physically use the equipment
Innovation Ground Control have invested heavily in this software Paperless recording and instant site data Producing a module for HAV’s Create individual monitoring streams Record trigger time at the end of each tool used Individual inputs the text and is instantly informed of available time left before EAV and ELV is reached for the day Trial stage at the moment using manufacturers guidelines on HAV data
