Scope
› The TERENA EuroCAMP workshops provide an
› identity management as well as › authentication and authorisation technology to access applications, › federations, › directories and › other middleware standard technologies.
› Aim is to promote state-of-the-art middleware technologies and help develop the knowledge and skills needed by staff who are involved in the set- up of IdMS and more advanced AAI.

› EuroCAMP events transfer knowledge using a formula that combines demonstrations, lectures and case studies. › TERENA organises two EuroCAMP events per year, typically in spring and autumn. › Basic programme:
› identity management systems › integration of different identity sources into directories › the single-sign-on systems currently used by NRENs › preliminary federation concepts
› Advanced programme:
› interactive forum to stimulate discussions and exchange ideas about innovative topics
