Community Service & Foreign Language
Neither Community Service nor Foreign Language graduation requirements. Both are required for some scholarships – like 2 of the 3 types of Bright Futures. Foreign Languages are recommended for college-bound students, and 2
consecutive years are required for 4-year university admissions.
Community Service Hours
Can begin to earn hours the summer between 8th and 9th grade. Student Application and Parent Approval Form and Record of Volunteer Hours signed
by a supervisor are required. An Agency Form may be required.

Registration Sheets
English, Math, Science, History, Reading, and PE will be scheduled for
all 9th grade students based on current courses, grades, test scores, and teacher recommendations.
Teacher signature required for AP courses, and some electives
Registration Sheets are focused on elective choices.
Choose 5 electives and rank them in order.
Parent and Student signature are required. Guidance Counselors will sign when received. Registration Sheets are due Friday, March 18, 2016.
