French Immersion School serving the area east of Pipeline Road and north of Leila Avenue and 388 Pipeline for English and Amber Trails and Ambergate for Immersion.

Option 1 Advantages

 Least disruptive option.  Option where the most students can walk to school.  Reduces crowding at James Nisbet.

Option 1 Disadvantages

 Doesn’t reduce crowding at Leila North.  Challenging for staffing and budget.  Jeopardizes future capital projects.

 Positive for staffing, budget and future capital projects.  Strengthens Immersion program.  No transition to middle years for English students.

 Disruptive for French Immersion students and staff.  French Immersion students south of Leila and English students north of Leila
