A man scatters seed on the ground… What Field Workers CANNOT Do You and I cannot cause the seed to sprout and grow! Mark 4:27-28 , NIV Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain… 1 Corinthians 3:7 , NLT It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. Both Farming & Evangelism Take Time! Just as plants grow and fruit ripens gradually …. so also there is a process in coming to trust in Jesus. John 4:36-38 & 1 Corinthians 3:8, NLT “What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! You know the saying, ‘One plants and another harvests.’ And it’s true. I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; other had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.” The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose.
