Financial Support and Food Assistance

Women, Infant and Children (WIC) - If you need nutrition and food assistance and you are pregnant and/or have children up to the age of 5, you may be eligible for WIC benefits.   • Federal Emergency Paid Sick Leave - If your employer has fewer than 500 employees, they are required

to give paid sick days for certain COVID-19 related personal medical and caregiving needs. Visit https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/pandemic. Available to all regardless of immigration status

  • NJ Earned Sick Leave - Almost all employers in New Jersey must provide full-time, part-time, and

temporary employees with earned sick leave so they can care for themselves or a loved one. Visit https://www.nj.gov/labor/worker-protections/earnedsick/. Available to all regardless of immigration status

  • Workers’ Compensation - Almost all employers are mandated to participate in a “no fault” insurance

program that provides income and medical-cost benefits to employees who suffer job-related injuries or
