The 2nd Eurasian Amateur Short Course Swimming Championship ‘Lithuania-2020’ will take place from March 28 to March 29, 2020 in the ‘Palangos Baseinas’ brand-new pool placed into operation in Palanga,

I APPEAL TO ALL SPORTS AMATEURS AND FANS, REPRESENTATIVES OF THE SPORTS COMMUNITY AND THE LEADERS OF ALL SPORTS FEDERATIONS, TO THE ORGANIZERS OF AMATEUR COMPETITIONS AND TO THE LEADERSHIP OF ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT IN ALL COUNTRIES WITH AN APPEAL TO JOIN THE WORLD CHARTER OF AMATEUR SPORTS! WE ARE THE INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF AMATEUR SPORTS (ICAS) - INTERNATIONAL NON-POLITICAL ORGANIZATION, WHICH CARRIES OUT THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF AMATEUR SPORT IN THE WORLD. ICAS ACTIVITIES ARE BASED ON THE WORLD CHARTER FOR AMATEUR SPORTS (ROMAN CHARTER). OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES ARE:

• CREATION OF A WORLD COMMON AMATEUR SPORTS PLATFORM;
• ORGANIZATION AND HOLDING OF AMATEUR SPORTS EVENTS AND

CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE FIELD OF WORLD, CONTINENTAL AND REGIONAL GAMES UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE ICAS.

DECLARATION International Amateur sports movement

Sports amateur , representatives of civil society institutions from various countries gathered in the Italian Republic in Rome, August 03, 2017, proclaim this Declaration. In accordance with the provisions of the universal Declaration of human rights everyone is entitled to all its rights and all freedoms, without any distinction, somehow concerning race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national and social origin, property, birth or other status. Amateur sports, including all forms of physical activity - is essential for a harmonious people , and the motion sports amateur should unite those whose philosophy of life that exalts and combines in a balanced whole dignity of the body, will and mind; the movement of connecting sport with culture and education seeking to create a lifestyle based on the joy of physical activity, educational values and good example for future generations, social responsibility and respect for universal ethical principles, promoting in the international community values a healthy lifestyle. Despite all the differences in development, engaging an Amateur sport needs to be open, to facilitate the creation of communities, the rapprochement of peoples, and equality, selfless competition, solidarity and fraternity, mutual understanding, recognition of the dignity of people, respect for yourself and others, learning tolerance. It is important to resist any political or commercial use of amateur athletes. With the aim of strengthening the unity of the amateur sports movement, without diminishing the fundamental principles

• f the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic movements deem it necessary to give a new impulse to the

development of human values through sports. Proclaim is a current Declaration with the goal to put the development of physical education and sport at the service of human progress, to encourage governments, competent non-governmental
