• Based on students’ preference and merit
• Based on teachers’ recommendation on

student aptitude & attitude for the subject ESS

• Obtain Silver in NAPFA Test (at least 4 points

in 2.4 km run)

• Certified medically fit for physical/

competitive activities

• Recommendation by PE teachers

• Rank by Merit
• Allocate according to Choice
• Based on the subject chosen and depending

determined which is dependent on the average marks of cohort.

Factors to consider

• Requirements at next level of education eg.

JC, CI, polytechnic and ITE courses

• Interest and aptitude in subjects
• Students who performed well in Science are

strongly encouraged to take up Pure Science combinations

• Students who performed well in their overall

results should be able to cope with the demands of 8-subject combination
