Who is eligible?

  • All students currently enrolled (part-time or full-time)

Who is mandated to have health care coverage?

  • International students holding J-1 visas
  • Student athletes
  • Students in a health care program (ex: medicine, nursing,

pharmacy) How are premiums paid?

  • Mandated students – through their student account
  • Not mandated/voluntary students – through Payer Fusion

The medical/rx drug plan covers services such as:

  • On-campus student health center visits
  • Primary care / specialty doctor visits
  • Urgent care center visits
  • Emergency room visits (No coverage for non-emergent ER

visits)

  • Impatient services (e.g. Hospitalization)
  • Outpatient services / labs
  • Prescription drugs
