  1. 2018 IAFP Annual Conference Poster Presentation Application November 16, 2018 Prairie Meadows Conference Center Altoona, Iowa Instructions for Submission • Poster title • Author(s) • Contact information • Short abstract (not to exceed 200 words) • Full abstract in required format to attach to application (not to exceed five pages). • IRB documentation, if applicable, to attach to application Eligibility - To enter the IAFP poster competition, medical students, family medicine residents, and active IAFP members must be: 1. Currently enrolled in an ACGME/AOA accredited residency program or LCME/COCA accredited medical school; and OR 2. A member in good standing of the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians. Submission Requirements • All projects must be completed at time of application. The printed poster is not needed until the time of presenting, if accepted. • Entries may not be taken from previously published papers. • The subject of the poster presentation may be based on course work or an extracurricular project. • Presenters of accepted entries must be IAFP resident or student members, willing to attend the 2018 IAFP Annual Conference on Friday, November 16 and be present at their displays during select exhibit hall hours. Full Abstract Requirements (items to be addressed in no more than five pages). Must follow format and include all information as outlined for each category. Research • Project description • Objectives/purpose • Methodology • Presenters’ role in project • Results/evaluation • Conclusion • IRB document (if applicable)
