Annually the Catholic Foundation offers a competitive granting process to distribute a percentage of returns from our field of interest

  • funds. Individuals or families, named or otherwise, can support these

funds to benefit their communities today and for future generations. In 2018, the inaugural year for distributions, we awarded $88,500 in grants to southeastern Michigan parishes, schools and community nonprofit organizations. Twenty five grants were offered to 23

  • rganizations in amounts up to $5,000.

2018 Grant Recipient Pope Francis Center will use their grant award to fund a nutrition program which seeks to improve the health and well-being of their guests by providing the highest quality, most nutritious foods available. The center serves 400 healthy meals each day.

The weekly format consists of a supper followed by, a talk on the Catholic Faith, a small group discussion, and some praise and worship music. $5,000 Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Communications Director Hire a communications and events director for 5 hours per week to oversee communications and activities planning of the parish. $5,000

The program includes two levels of instruction; the Cathedral Descant Choir or training choir, and the Cathedral Children’s Choir. $5,000 Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament Area Vacation Bible School Offering VBS to 100+ children in the clustered area. $2,000 Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament From the Shallows of The Deep The scope of this particular project is to provide 12 meals for Alpha for up to 100 attendees; Alpha then launches R.C.I.A, which is very likely smaller but also benefits from communal meals. $2,500 La Casa Guadalupana La Casa Guadalupana Program is classroom based with a group and a teacher who encourages group
