2018-19 Course Offering Reminders ● All 4 core subjects have been put in the computer for you! ● All foreign language courses have been put in for you! ● If you have not completed your PE requirement (2 courses or 2 waivers shown on your transcript) You must choose a PE option(s)! ● If you have not completed your Fine Art (1 full credit), you must choose a fine art course(s)

Use your transcript (You will receive this during Hornet Time TODAY) Current 8th grade students do NOT have a transcript yet, unless you have taken/are taking Spanish 1 or 2, or Algebra 1 in JH. c. discuss courses and planning sheet with parents 2. Get parent signature (Required) 3. Turn in the Elective Selection Sheet to your LA/English teacher by January 26!!!
Counselor Follow-Up Meeting Counselor will hold a follow-up meeting in English Classrooms January 29-February 2 ● Your English Teacher will return your Elective course selection sheet to you! ● You will complete the Template on the back of your Elective selection sheet. We will assist you in the process. ● Each student will log in to the computer
Counselor Follow-Up Meeting ● Using the template on the back of the Elective Selection Sheet you will select your electives online. ● The counselors/teachers will review your choices and make sure they match the selection sheet choices ● Then you will submit your selections. You are now finished! Please remember as you are making your selections… Once you have turned in this sheet… YOU MAY NOT MAKE CHANGES TO YOU CHOICES!!!

You are almost in high school! ● We are excited to have you with us! ● All grades/courses count! ● When you complete a course it is added to a HS transcript ● What is a Transcript? It is a running total of all courses you take and what grade you receive in the course!
You are almost in high school! ● If you pass the a course, you will receive credit for the course. ● you fail a course you do not get credit for the course, and you will be expected to take it over and over and over again until you pass the course!
