Apply and Get Admitted
Participate by:
- 1. Attend CCP
informational meeting
- 2. Sign and submit the
letter of intent (non- binding) by April 1st
- 3. Take the Accuplacer test
- 4. Apply and be admitted
to an individual college by their application deadline.
- 5. Register with university
for desired courses

Student Choice
Students can choose courses that apply toward a degree or workforce certification at a public (or participating private) college but still must meet high school graduation requirements.

Graduate with College Credit
Earn up to 30 college credit hours per academic year; summer is included. No more than 120 college credit hours while in the program.

1…You want to take college courses that also satisfy your high school graduation requirements. 2…You completed your high school graduation required classes and you want to begin college work. 3…You want to explore college and take a course in a subject that interests you.

Books and Fees
Students attending a public college do not pay for either books or fees.
Students attending a private college may have a cost that includes books and fees.

If you fail the class or drop it too late, you will have to pay for it.

The grade you earn in the college course is applied to your high school graduation required class and also becomes a part of your college transcript.

CC+ Opportunities as a WHHHS Student
- Harrison High School currently offers the
- pportunity to earn 19 credits and never leave
the campus…..this is through specific CCP classes and 4th and 5th year French classes
- Students can enroll in online classes with Sinclair
Community College and Urbana University. Student will be scheduled a bell at WHHHS to complete it.
- Students can enroll in and attend classes on
college campuses….Cincinnati State, Miami- Hamilton, UC-Blue Ash

What Do I Need To Do To Participate?
1…Receive guidance and counseling from the school on the program (CCP Informational Night) 2…Sign and submit a Letter of Intent to Participate by April 1st 3…Take the Accuplacer test (given at school) 3…Apply to the university(ies) and register for classes by their deadline

Changes From Previous Years
- Students must place at college level in one
area of the Accuplacer test or be within one standard deviation and have a 3.0 GPA
- High School courses must match College
course in both content and length
- For CCP classes in the high school, students
must apply for admission and register for the CCP class(es) before the end of the prior school year
