February 1, 2017 NOMINATIONS NEEDED! Deadline Approaching: February 21, 2017 Don’t miss this important opportunity to impact our community’s leadership! The School of the Incarnation Home and School Association (HSA) is seeking nominations for the following positions on the 2017-2019 Executive Board: Vice-President Treasurer, and Fundraising & Special Projects Coordinator Each position is a two-year term beginning July 1, 2017 until June 30, 2019. A description of each position is available on the HSA website. All parents of current School of the Incarnation students, with the exception of faculty/staff and their spouses as well as members of the Elections Committee, are eligible for election. Nominating someone is easy! Simply call or send an email with your nomination and position to a member of the elections committee (contact information below) by Tuesday – February 21, 2017. If there are more than three nominees for any one position, a primary election will be held. The final ballot will be limited to three candidates for each position. HSA Vice-President

Responsibilities include:

• Acts in the absence of the President and performs other duties as assigned

 (i.e. HSA Liaison to HSA Room Parent Coordinator; Oversees HSA fundraising/ non-fundraising events and works with event chair(s), etc.)

• Assists the President as needed
• Attends HSA Executive Committee monthly meetings and events
• Voting member of the HSA Executive Committee

HSA Fundraising/Special Events Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

• Oversees all HSA fundraising events and activities
• Identifies prospective committee chair(s) for each HSA fundraising event
• Works with fundraising event committee chair(s) to develop budget plan and event
• Attends event committee meetings (pre and post-event)
• Updates general HSA membership of fundraising events during quarterly HSA Parent

Meetings

• Attends Executive Committee monthly meetings and fundraising events
• Voting member of the HSA Executive Committee

HSA Treasurer

Responsibilities include:

• Accountable for handling all HSA money (and records) including facilitating the necessary

processes for collecting, recording, reporting and disbursing of HSA monies

• Submits monthly financial reports to Executive Committee and quarterly reports for general

HSA membership at designated meetings;

• Establishes a HSA fundraising goal for school year
• Attends Executive Committee monthly meetings and fundraising events
• Voting member of the HSA Executive Committee
