  31. 31 Conclusion • There has been a steady increase of female appointees while the female representation in Boards has dropped drastically. • People of color only represent 52% of appointees to SF Commissions and Boards; Asians and Hispanic/Latinx are underrepresented. • The representation of LGBT, people with a disability and veterans in policy bodies exceeds parity with SF population. • The policy bodies with larger budgets have smaller representation of women while Commissions and Boards with smallest budgets have higher female representation. • Minority representation is at or near parity with the population on policy bodies with both the smallest and largest budgets.
