APEDA: Main function is to do the registration of exporter for which they issued RCMC number to them. This is valid for 5years. APEDA monitor pesticide residue, achieve product standardization and facilitate tracing back from retail shelves to the farm of the Indian grower, through the various stages of sampling, testing, certification and packing for grapes, pomegranates, Peanuts and selected plant products as per importing country requirements. APEDA also issue the certificate (RCAC) for Rice, valid for 3 months. Testing of Pesticides residue is done by Quality Assurance & Testing Laboratories accredited by DMI,
