League Philosophy

• CCLL strives to instill the virtues of good

character in our players:

– Sportsmanship – Honesty – Loyalty – Courage – Respect for Authority

So that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

• This is LITTLE LEAGUE

– MUST Play – Can’t Sit 2 Consecutive Innings. Substitution rule at AAA and below. – Bat the Line-Up – Free Substitutions – PLEASE Move Players Around – Regular Season Games DON’T COUNT – MODEL the Behavior You Want from Your Players – Adults in the Dugout – Manager + Two

• Single A and AA – Manager + Three
• Rookie – As Many Adults as You Can Recruit & Have Cards!
• Don’t be THAT Coach

– At the end of this season, we’ll hear about a kid that played

• utfield all season, never pitched and felt ignored. Think he’ll

come back? – Teach the Kids to LOVE Baseball!

– If Your Manager Isn’t “Playing Ball,” Let Us Know

• Each Team must provide two volunteers for four hours

(can split into two hours if you have four volunteers)

– Schedule to be published AFTER Game Schedule is Complete

• An email will be sent to your ENTIRE team TWO WEEKS

before your concession duty as a reminder

– When Teams No-Show, it Creates MASSIVE Problems!

• Recruit Volunteers from the Team
• NEW – Penalties for NO SHOWS!!

– Additional practice requests will not be approved until your volunteer time is completed – This will be enforced this year!!

• MUST Use Them
• REMOVE Fixed Bases at Outer Fields

– No On-Deck Batters (Majors and below) – No Bats in the Dugout – Only Practice on APPROVED Fields

• These have been submitted to LLI in our Safety Plan
• Non-Approved Fields are NOT Covered in Our Insurance

– No Adult Catchers – MUST Be a Player with a Mask
