The Cosulich family originated from Lussino, a small island off the Dalmatian coast in the Adriatic

• Sea. It was with Capt. Antonio F.

Cosulich that shipping activities took a start in 1857, when the bark FIDES of 500 tons was built.

1857

The family expanded its fmeet in the following years, purchasing also steamships and setting up in Trieste, the leading harbour of the Austrian Empire.

1889

During the World War I, part of the fmeet was lost and the shipyard was destroyed as well. Shortly after the war the Cosulich family restarted the shipping activities with the trade name of Cosulich Line and rebuilt the shipyard.

1918

The family then merged its activity with other partners establishing a joint venture called Austro- Americana which started regular passenger and freight services from Trieste to South and North America. A shipyard (today’s Fincantieri) was also built near Trieste.

10 Forwarding

In May 2018 Fratelli Cosulich S.p.A. established a joint- venture with Tecnoservice S.r.l. Fratelli Cosulich S.p.A. has been providing agency and transportation services to international Companies active in the international steel products market, such as Metinvest, Duferco and NLMK. This joint–venture will enable our group of companies to develop even more logistic, terminal and transportation activities for steel products, containers and project cargoes. Tecnoservice S.r.l. is able to cover the full logistic chain, providing the clients with a complete service including port and Customs’ operations, products’ distribution through the different means of intermodal transport such as rail, fmuvial and road.

11 Deposit, cargo warehousing and containers’repair

Ambro Terminal is specialized in the activity of container repair, deposit of empty containers, cleaning and cargo warehousing. The depots are located in: Marghera (13.000 sqm), Piacenza (15.000 sqm), Ospitaletto (15.000 sqm), Verona (20.000 sqm for empty container activity and 25.000 sqm for warehouse and stuffjng/unstuffjng activity) and Valdaro (25.000 sqm for empty container activity and 6.000 sqm for warehouse activity). Ospitaletto and Verona are important intermodal centres regularly connected to the port of Marghera. From/to Ospitaletto area, Ambro terminal handles 2 trains per week and from/to Verona 5 trains per week. Marghera depot is strategically located a few km away from the main terminals of the port of Venice, i.e. Vecon and TIV. All areas are fully equipped for maintenance and repair activity, with the highest technologies and software able to satisfy every kind of request from our customers (edi fjles, Codeco/Coparn, westim). All depots are weight station for VGM purposes, with video surveillance 24/7.

Since 2011, Fratelli Cosulich S.p.A. is investing in the road transport sector through the establishment of Lorma Logistic. The company has undergone signifjcant growth, reaching in a few years such a size as to make it

• ne of the main container carriers in Northern Italy.

Lorma Logistic can offer truck and intermodal solutions for every type of container throughout Northern and Central Italy, also offering, through the 100% owned Ambro Terminal, a network of strategic terminals to make available to its customers the most effjcient logistics possible. The company, which actually owns 70 trailers and 50 trucks, has chosen to invest in green technologies able to reduce the environmental impact of road transport, choosing alternative and ecological fuels that will lead Lorma to have 20% of the fmeet powered by LNG (Liquefjed Natural Gas) by 2020.

Fratelli Cosulich started selling bunker in 1969 at our Genova Headquarters. Our brokers and traders cover the bunker requirements of our customers worldwide from the offjces in New York, Genova, Singapore, Hong Kong, Hai Phong, Montecarlo and Dubai. In 2005 the Group decided to start an operation as bunker physical supplier in the port of Singapore where we now deploy 5 bunker barges (4x6500 dwt an 1x4000 dwt) equipped with Mass Flow Meters and delivering roughly 200.000 metric tons per month. Annually the Group delivers nearly 6.5 million metric tons worldwide. In addition to standard commercial bunkering, the Group has a strong presence in the yacht fuel business through its controlled entity Femo Bunker, focusing on fuel for luxury yachts and with offjces in Genova,
