- Available in 2018 to start transition

SLIDE 4 Extended Coverage – Mobile Services Extended Area Service (EAS)
4
- 292 sites across Scotland, England and Wales
- 9 in the North York Moors National Park.
- Most sites will be new, but where we can, existing
sites will be exploited under site share agreements and we are also aiming to redevelop a number of Airwave sites. 3 are currently being considered.
SLIDE 5 Future Proofing Requirements
- Consideration given to future
users of EAS mast sites.
- Consultation through WG, SG
and DCMS with Operators to identify likely areas.
- EAS will incorporate into the build
where possible.
- Possible tension where design is
being led towards monopole / telegraph pole solution.
