  6. Scenario Situation Update 8:05 AM  Cuyamaca College and surrounding area have no power or water service.

  7. Scenario – Situation Update  Cell phone service is not operational.  Most land line phone service is still operational.  Employees are concerned about their families.  Questions raised about what to do next.

  8. Scenario Situation Update 8:30 AM  College President becomes the EOC commander, request command staff to activate all functions.  EOC commander requests an update from all command staff regarding their readiness of their teams.

What should I do in an emergency? • Be prepared – have a plan • Have emergency contact numbers • Know the evacuation routes • If you call police, be prepared to give them the following : • Your name • Location and extension number • The situation – describe clearly and accurately • Your needs • If you believe a crime has occurred, you will be asked: • Suspect location • Description • Direction of travel • Information about victims • DON’T HANG UP!
