Land disputes à Lack of infrastructure
and services in recognized villages and unrecognized villages
The Arava Institute is proposing an alternative solution for
wastewater management in which is decentralized or off-grid sewage management.
The proposal is to connect village neighborhoods to onsite
wastewater treatment and reuse systems.
In this way sewage is treated safely without the need for
expensive and complex infrastructure and the community benefits from an additional source of water for local agriculture.
As a first stage in our project we are reaching out to all relevant
stakeholders to receive their input on the decentralized approach to wastewater management.
