Recent Achievements

Chinese and Japanese language search For a law firm client of ours, we provided Chinese and Japanese language invalidity search. The results uncovered with the search were used for re-examination and proved to be very helpful. The results that were found did not have any English language family members and did not show up in English language search for Chinese and Japanese jurisdictions. Patent Licensing Support Assisted a US based company in successfully out-licensing a set of more than 50 patents to multiple players, resulting in revenue worth more than 60 million dollars. Effectual Services worked closely with the company attorneys to identify target products and companies, prepare evidence of use charts, preparing infringement contentions and providing support through litigation by providing claim to specification charts, preparing response to invalidity contentions etc. Patent Proofreading Services Performed proofreading for a soon to be litigated patent. The proofreading resulted in identifying 4 critical errors in claims, 12 in specification and 3 in drawings and 1 on face page of the patent. The analysis enabled client to file a Certificate of Correction in a timely manner before initiation of an infringement lawsuit.
