Research indicates 80% of all new jobs in Canada are created by small businesses. Graduates of the SIAST Entrepreneurship & Small Business Certificate are prepared to start and operate new business ventures or work as managers in small businesses.

Application Process

  • 1. Application:

International Students must complete and submit the following:

  • International student application form
  • International student application fee i.e. $120 by telegraphic transfer.
  • Official secondary and post-secondary transcripts. (Education Certificates)
  • Proof of English language proficiency - IELTS

Undergraduate Program: An overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no 5.0 in each module Post Graduate Program : An overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no 6.0 in each module

  • 2. Acceptance: If accepted student will be issued a formal letter of acceptance (LOA).
  • 3. Study Permit: International Students apply for a Canadian Study Permit from www.cic.gc.ca.This

process can take up to three months.

  • 4. Tuition Deposit: students are required to confirm their acceptance at Parkland College with

tuition fee deposits as mentioned in the Letter of Offer.
