A Level, Vocational and Apprenticeship programmes Thurs 8th February 2018, 6.00pm – 8.00pm Tues 24th April 2018, 6.00pm – 8.00pm Wed 20th June 2018, 6.00pm – 8.00pm No need to book for open events, just come along. Taster Days 16th, 18th and 24th January 2018. Booking is required. Information will be available in October. Aiming High March 2018.

By email Send all the details required as listed on the application form on this leaflet (personal details, preferred dates and subject choices in order of preference) to info4schools@yorkcollege.ac.uk By post Complete your details opposite and your subject choices on the list overleaf and return the form to: Taster Days, Schools Liaison Team, GF054, York College, Sim Balk Lane, York, YO23 2BB. By telephone Call the Schools Liaison Team on 01904 770239 to book your place.
The closing date for applications is Friday 22nd December 2017.
Places are allocated on a first‐come, first‐served basis and many subjects get booked up quickly – so don’t delay! We will contact you by letter at the end of November through to December to confirm your place. You must have pre‐booked a place in order to attend any of these Taster Days.
SLIDE 10 What happens on Taster Day
- You will receive a confirmation letter inviting you into
College.
- Arrival time 8.45am
- Queue to get your individual timetable – Desks set out
alphabetically by surname
- You will then be directed to attend a welcome session
where you will be told how the day runs
- If you have any queries during the day there is a
Help Desk on the first floor all day
- Day finishes at approx. 4.30pm
SLIDE 11 As soon as you have decided on your choice of course or subjects you can apply to York College. For a course which starts in September 2018, we would advise that you apply no later than the Easter holidays to have the best chance of securing a place on the course/s you have chosen.

When you apply you must Register Once you have applied you can Login 24 hours after sending your application All students will receive an email to say we have received their application. All correspondence will then be by post.

Students should only apply for one course, e.g.. A Level Programme or Vocational Art – Art & Design etc. If a student is interested in another course then this can be discussed at interview When adding qualifications please put the closest match If you wish to change anything once you have submitted your application you must telephone our Admissions team
