Monday April 8th:
- Turtle Project
- Jungle trek + Camping
Sunday April 7th:
- Flight to Kuala Lumpur (4hrs)
- Bus to Mersing (5hrs)
- Ferry to Tioman (1.5hrs)
Tuesday April 9th:
- Return to Riverview
- Kayaking/Snorkeling
Session Wednesday April 10th:
- Snorkeling
- Discover Scuba Diving
Thursday April 11th:
- Agriculture Project
- Juara Olympics
Friday April 12th:
- Return Journey to HKG
All above itineraries aside from dep and rtn days are subject to change with a group of 50 campers at 2 different locations..

Friday April 12: Departing KL at 17:45 on flight KA734 Landing in HK at 21:50 Parents please meet at the Tourist Pick Up Area pillars approximately 22:30-22:45.
Dismissal: Google Form will be sent out after this presentation
- Pick-up by parents/family or
- son/daughter will be making their own way home from the
airport. If someone is not there to collect the student and no one has notified Mr. Molnar prior to the trip, the parents will be contacted to pick up their child on arrival.
Students should never leave the group or the airport without notifying your team leader

Item Description
Passport + HKID Valid, pre-arranged visa (if necessary) in zip-lock bag with name Back-pack 40-60 L. Good quality back-pack. Preferably waterproof, if not bring garbage bag (not a suitcase) Day bag + small waterproof bag 25-30L (with rain cover). To hike with as you are going camping, to carry your sleeping-bag/liner and water bottle. Sleeping-bag or Liner Lightweight, synthetic sleeping bag or liner. No need for matress Flashlight Headlamps are ideal (extra batteries) Camping “Mess-Kit” Reusable bowl, cup & cutlery (plastic or metal) Water Shoes Anything closed-toed that will stay on the feet in the water. An old pair of running shoes are ideal. Walking/Running Shoes Something with a tread. Flat bottomed shoes (ie. basketball, tennis, skateboarding) are not allowed. Sunglasses including safety strap

Snacks bring some snacks, individually wrapped (ants) - once in Tioman they will be put in the kitchen area in a big airtight box. Cash Hong Kong Dollars for HK airport Malaysian Ringgit 2 Fast dry towels Very humid so quick dry is better Water bottle Electrolytes Reusable water bottle (camel pack). Electrolytes against dehydration (nuun tablets are great for this) Sunscreen Sunscreen (preferably coral safe) + bug spray Soap/Shampoo Eco-friendly - biodegradable Mask/snorkel/fins If you have any snorkeling equipment bring it along Dive certifications - Logbook Bring your dive certifications and logbook if you have any

Students can use electronics when travelling until we reach Little Planet, but then we will collect these (phones, tablets,..). Cameras will be the only electronics students can keep (preferably waterproof one). They are responsible for it. On the hike, they may bring a camera as it is not a ‘wet’ activity. There will be plenty of photos taken by staff - which students will have access to.
Electronics
If your child takes regular medication – please put in a zip-lock bag clearly labeled:
- Name
- Time of day to take medication
- Dosage
- Any additional information
Your group leader will be in charge of collecting and administering medication. Please have your child give it to him/her at the airport on Sunday April 7th upon airport arrival
Medication
- Carry on bag: needs to be flight ready, no sharp objects,
liquid bottles, contact lenses cleaner, etc…
- If your child brings electronics, they will responsible for these.
Do not allow them to bring anything that they cannot afford to lose.
- Passport/ID cards must be in ziploc bags - With NAME ON

I will send an email to Mr. Crowther when we arrive at Little Planet to let you know that we arrived safely. He will forward this information to the parents. I will endeavour to send an email throughout the week with news of what we have been doing. This all depends on wifi coverage. Again, sent to Mr Crowther, who will pass it on. Please refrain from trying to contact your child, unless in the case of a family emergency – contact Mr Wheeler. Any necessary communication shall go through Mr Wheeler who will contact me.
