Program Highlights

WEST STREET SITE

The Annapolis Public Library is located at 1410 West Street, Annapolis MD 21401. The site is currently 3.90

  • acres. An adjacent property, 1420 West Street, has

been purchased by the County and added to the project area resulting in a total project area of 4.77 acres. The existing library is immediately bordered to the south by West Street (State Maintained Minor Arterial Road) and residential areas; and to the east, west and north by existing single family residential dwellings. The main site access is off of West Street with a secondary access point to the north at Poplar Street. The Library site consists of mowed lawn, trees, surface parking and a one-story building. The adjacent property, 1420 West Street, is a vacant lot with several large existing trees. No forest or steep slopes (grades >15%) exist on the properties and the land is generally flat.
