Entrances and Exits
In September, Badgers classroom will be in the hall, not in the usual Badgers classroom. This is because Nursery and Reception children will be in the usual Badgers classroom whilst the building work will be continuing to extend the Early Years classroom. Badgers class will come into school in the morning and leave school at the end of the school day through the main school entrance. Hands will be washed using the outdoor sink before entering school and before going home.
Things you need to bring with you each day:
you on your first day back)
folder, not a rucksack. We will not have space for rucksacks
term.
Class Information
■ Individual pencil cases, with all you need for learning, will be provided by school. Please do not bring in pencil cases from home. ■ Children in Year 5 and 6 are welcome to bring in their own handwriting pen/ fountain pen - blue ink only (no biros). These pens will be left in school in their school pencil case and cannot be taken between school and home.
Class Routines
❏ Badgers children will take book bags, coats and packed lunches from home straight to their seat in the classroom and then complete a morning task. ❏ Morning break (10.30 - 10.45am) ❏ Children can bring in a healthy snack to eat at playtime. ❏ Lunchtime (12.00 - 1.00pm) We will be eating lunch together in the classroom. If you have ordered a school lunch, this will be brought to you. ❏ Morning and lunch play will be in a set area for each
together at playtime or lunchtime.
