HM5 – 5a – Competitor Eligibility

These skills must be developed before arriving at the Rally. Regardless of the USPC Member’s level or certification, the Member must be capable of fulfilling the following basic requirements to be eligible to Rally:
- The stall/tie area must be kept safe and clean
- The mount must have water or be offered water at least every hour, and
- All equipment must be in safe condition and the Competitor must know how to
use it.

HM6 – 6e – Neutral Zone

The CHMJ will announce any specific expectations regarding leaving the barn area, during the Initial Briefing. Some examples of possible expectations are:
- Requiring that the team communicate to the discipline’s HM
- ffice that the team is leaving
- Signing out/signing in from the barn area

Item Requirements Identification Members must wear their pinnie and/or other designated form of ID as applicable. Medical Armband Members must wear an Armband on either upper arm with a copy of their current, complete and signed Medical Card at all times while on competition grounds.
- To protect the Members’ privacy, it is recommended that the Medical Card
be folded so the personal information is not easily seen.
- At the discretion of the Organizer, Quiz Competitors may carry their
Medical Card either in their Name Tag holders or in an Armband. – this line has been deleted from 2014 HMH
- Tetrathlon Competitors will not be required to wear their armbands while
shooting or swimming, but must have them visible and next to them for these activities and must wear them at all other times. Tip: Safety pins may be used to secure an armband to a sleeve to keep the Armband from slipping down.
