PE and Sports
Children need to bring in their full PE kit (both outdoor and indoor) on Monday for the whole week. Please send socks if girls are wearing tights. Swimming is on a Thursday and will need to make sure that they have their full swim kit. If your child is not swimming please let the office know. PE is on a Wednesday.
Uniform
Wearing the correct uniform to school is important. Please support us in ensuring your child comes to school wearing their uniform in a smart way. Please label all clothing!
Equipment
A water bottle A sensible sized pencil case containing:
- Pencils
- Blue ink pen (not a biro)
- Green biro
- Colouring pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Ruler (30cm – not a flexi rule!)
- Dry-wipe whiteboard pen – vital!
How can I help my child?
Arrive on time for school. Listen to your child read everyday and discuss what you have read! Practice Times Tables. Practice spellings
If I need to contact the teacher…
Send in a letter with your child. See the class teacher the end of the day. Make an appointment via the office (phone or email) Parent Consultation Evenings.
Dates for Diaries
Residential talk – Wednesday 26th September Residential deposit due – Wednesday 10th October WW2 play and drama workshop - Monday 8th October Letter with dates for the academic year will be sent out on Thursday.
Kingswood Residential
Year 6 residential trip is provisionally booked for Monday 15th July – Friday 19th July 2019. A residential talk will be held on Wednesday 26th September at 3.30pm. 1st deposit (approximately £50) due 10th October (letter to follow shortly).
