A) Autozero procedure

Auto-zeroing cycle for precisely resetting its reference position of brushes and counter rollers by dedicated sensor after their change (due to wear or other reasons forcing change). After the procedure the machine is immediately ready to treat the first panel.

B) Automatic dressing

This procedure is useful for a perfect equalization of every brush. It could happen to have brushes not perfectly flat due to uneven

  • consumption. These brushes, when

possible, have to be rectified to properly work.

Brushing machines may have internally placed a bar (for each brush) to be able to get a brush perfectly flat, bringing them back to a perfect cylindricity, able to guarantee requested performance.

C) Foot-print procedure

It is a quick procedure that allows,

Operator takes panel and put it on the machine entry conveyor. The machine board alternator moves incoming panels first on right then on the left and lastly centering, by 4 photocells whom recognize panel presence and transmitt signal to the machine’s PLC. The PLC generates the signal to move the mechanical parts in order to avoid an uneven brushes consumption and preserve brushes working life.

E) Panel thickness recognition

After panel positioning by 3 positions board alternator, it can reach thickness detector area. Machine control system checks, by a dedicated thickness detector, panel thickness and, by a row of n.6 photocells, its width. These parameters are transmitted to the machine PLC which sets positioning

both brushes and counter-rollers and set brushes pressure on panel (brushes pressure is different according panel width;

  • perator can set abrasion curve and
