MISSION & VISION
Our Mission
In partnership with students, parents and the community, CMIT will attain educational excellence by providing a rigorous and technology-integrated education for middle and high school students with an emphasis on mathematics, science, and information technologies.
Our Vision
The vision of CMIT is to provide multiple opportunities for Prince George’s County youth to prepare for post-secondary education in a variety of fields of study in order to pursue professional careers. CMIT will enable all students to achieve their maximum potential by equipping and empowering them with analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.

SUMMARY OF UNIFORM POLICY
Tops
- Orange or Blue Polo shirts with CMIT Logo
Pants
- Khaki or Navy Blue pants/skirts/scorts. (Shorts are permitted April 1 through Oct 31)
Shoes/Socks
- Shoes must be all black with no other color. On PE days, students may have any color tennis shoes.
- Socks: Plain navy blue, white, orange or black.
Physical Education Uniform
- Blue CMIT PE shirt and navy blue CMIT shorts or sweatpants.
Class A Uniform (Field Trips, Assemblies, Special Events)
- CMIT’s white oxford shirt, tie, khaki or navy blue pants, black belt, black shoes

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
- Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)
- CMIT's mission statement begins with "In partnership with students, parents and the
- community" and CMIT values contribution and involvement of parents and community.
- CMIT parents and staff have established a PTO which will help sponsor and support different
activities or events.
