GETTING THERE

• Road closures will progress as follows:

– Park Blvd. & 66th Street = 1:00PM – Park Blvd. & 58th Street = 1:30PM – Park Blvd. & 49th Street = 2:15PM – Park Blvd. & 40th Street = 3:30PM

LINEUP

• The lineup area opens to participants at

4:00PM

• Access to the lineup area is limited to 70th

Avenue via 65th Way ONLY.

– Some units will be placed on additional side streets.

• Vehicles not participating in the parade are not

permitted past 72nd Avenue.

LINEUP

• Vehicles may only travel eastbound in the

lineup area.

• Your lineup position will be marked with a

wooden stake. When you arrive at this location, pull to the curb and all the way forward to your marked position.

• The space allotted to you is based on utilizing

the curb and center lanes.

LINEUP

• The median lane must remain clear at all

times.

• Someone with a key MUST remain with

your vehicle at all times.

• The lineup area is closed to all vehicles at

5:30PM.

THE PARADE

• Preliminary units will be stepping off beginning

at 5:55PM.

• The parade steps off at 6:00PM.
• Make sure your cardstock number is displayed on

the first vehicle of your unit so that it can be identified.

• Once your entry begins to move, reposition into

the center lane (fall in line if you lined up double- file).

• Vehicles must be in the center lane, walkers may

be in the curb lane.

THE PARADE

• The median lane must continue to remain

clear.

• Be on the lookout for parade officials that may

be directing other units from side streets into position in front of you.

• There is NO stopping at anytime.
• There is NO loading and unloading once the

parade begins.

THE PARADE

• There will be parade officials along the route

to enforce these rules and to assist you should you encounter a problem.

• The Reviewing Stand (that includes Bright

House TV cameras) is located at Park Blvd. and 53rd Street.

THE END OF THE PARADE

• The parade disperses in all directions at The

Shoppes at Park Place:

– North & Southbound U.S. 19 – Westbound Park Blvd. via U.S. 19 underpass.

• ONLY SPECIFIED UNITS may utilize the

mall parking lot. If your cardstock lineup number is yellow, then you will be permitted to enter at 40th Street.

REMINDERS

• This is a ONE SANTA PARADE. This is the

rule that most holiday parades have in common!

• Be respectful of the private property in the

lineup area.

• This is a long parade.

TIPS

• Please SHARE this information with the

“important” members of your group.

• Spectators love candy and beads, materials

distributed of no particular value will be swept up by the cleaning crews.

• DO NOT have any alcohol on board your

vehicles or within your entry. Your entire entry will immediately be handed off to the Pinellas Park Police Department.
