HONORS COURSES

■ What should I consider?

■ How much time will you spend on homework? ■ How many honors courses should you take in one year? ■ How many extra-curricular activities do you participate in (school

and other)?

■ How is the curriculum and rigor different than that of a

“challenge” course in middle school?

■ Do you have a great work ethic? Homework is assigned but is

not normally for a grade.

■ Do you like to read a lot outside of class? ■ Do you have good higher-level thinking skills? ■ How will you feel if you earn a grade less than an “A”?
