WHAT IS THE PTSA & WHAT DO WE DO

■ The PTSA is a non-profit, volunteer organization of parents, teachers and students. ■ The PTSA main role is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers and school administration, to enhance

ur children's educational experience.

■ The PTSA is self-funding and with your membership fee and other fundraisers, we are able to generate funds to sponsor the different programs and activities through out the year.

r not a member volunteers. You will not be sucked

into a black hole of volunteering!

You do not have to serve on the Board or chair a committee to join the PTSA. Your beautiful smile and wonderful support will suffice!

WHY ARE FUNDRAISERS NEEDED?

■ Fundraising is very important because without it, the PTSA would not be able to sponsor activities and programs for the students; as a big portion

f those activities are paid with money that has been raised through

fundraiser efforts.

HOW DO WE COLLECT THE NEEDED FUNDS…

■ PTSA Membersh ship - Joining the PTSA also makes you a member

f the State and National organization, and includes certain benefits

and discounts.

■ Annua ual Par Parents ts Fundr draiser r Cocktail tail - our biggest

fundraiser of the year. It is a Gala hosted by one of the General Counsels (French, Italian or Spanish). A night of fun for parents, teachers and friends of ISPA.

■ PTSA Spirit rit Store re - it creates additional funding to the PTSA and

it is a convenience to parents and students. All required ISPA Spirit wear is available all year long - ISPA Sweaters, Polo t-shirts (short & long sleeves), PE t-shirt & shorts –

■ The Color r Run - A school-wide FUN fundraisers for all. ■ Par Partner ersh ship with different restaurants and business in the area,

such as the South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union.
