What problem are we trying to solve?

2017 2019

Retention

Source: Crystal Market research for the ABC - excludes U18s and supervised climbers

One of the causes of drop off is easy access: Summary survey feedback

Though 31% wouldn’t be interested if they had to pay for it Demographics: They’re young, keen, standard m/f split, in most parts of the country where the survey was circulated; 62% 18-34yrs, remainder older; 67/32 m/f; 76% climb 1-3 times a week; good geographical spread, save Wales & Yorkshire & Humberside

Also validated by Qualitative Market Research for ABC
