For ALL STAFF The aims for the Passport to Health & Wellbeing Excellence are to:

  • provide a structure and pathway for participants to maximise both mental and

physical health

  • provide participants with a variety of options depending on interests
  • disseminate key information to help participants (and their colleagues) keep healthy
  • encourage participants to take a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle
  • raise awareness of the importance of physical & mental wellbeing
  • recognise the importance the University places on staff wellbeing
  • provide tools to allow staff to monitor own health
  • facilitate the creation of a network of health and wellbeing ‘ambassadors’ in different

University workplaces

  • raise profile of St Andrews as a great place to work

  • Will be part of ‘Passports’ which is a popular, award winning,

sector leading, concept

  • Complete within two years
  • 4 core sessions
  • Minimum of 8 optional activities
  • Will include some seasonally appropriate events
  • Ranging from a couple of hours to 2 days (Scottish Mental Health

First Aid)

  • A lot of the activities already delivered and planned
  • Some will be over lunchtimes/early evening
  • Participants will join University Health and Wellbeing network
  • Can remain involved in an Ambassadorial role on completion -
