• A black pen or pencil

What is semaphore

• Semaphore is a way of communicating using flags.
• Holding up the flags in certain ways shows a different letter. This way

people can communicate from long distances.

• This is an example of a semaphore flag. To make yours, either use red

and yellow or make the red side black and the yellow side keep white.
