Beginning Composition vs English Foundations

❏ All students are currently placed in Beginning Composition and it is already selected for you in PowerSchool ❏ Students whose iready scores, district final and 7th grade Smarter Balance scores fall below grade level, will be placed in English Foundations instead of Beginning Composition ❏ You will know in May when you get your course confirmation sheets

The box next to the Beginning Composition course has been selected for you. All 9th grade students must take Beginning Composition or English Foundations 1.
