Experiences with technology

Working with teachers

Does the app still work? Mobile devices become outdated quickly. BYOD: Teacher has to handle two or three different systems, each in different generations. Using the cloud is easy, but may violate privacy. Not using the cloud is clumsy.

Experiences with videomaking

Working with teachers

The teachers in the workshops mostly work on mathematics and (educational) design; filming and stop motion apps are easy to handle. Not every mathematical topic “works”. Can the pupils not create Khan-style videos with spelled-out formulas but rather develop and use visual metaphors? Start from typical misconceptions

  • r with topics that tend to induce them.
