Sightseeing Harbour

This is the first harbour that ever existed in Bremen. A long time ago the harbour was used for fishing and was a lot bigger. The surrounding is often used for festivals like the „Festival Maritim“ and the „Hafen Fest“. The harbour is situated at the river „Weser“ which flows near Vegesack.

This is our School Ship. It is called „Schulschiff Deutschland“. It is always at the same place and you can have your wedding on it.

Buildings

Gustav- Heinemann- Bürgerhaus. It is a community centre where our mayor has his office in. There are two halls which are used to hold events and you can also eat there. „Schönebecker Schloss“ is an old, royal residance and today it is a museum.

Lürssen- is a yacht producing company which sells their products all over the world. Abeking & Rasmussen- is also in the yacht producing business. The

nly difference is that they

deliver ships to the military.
