v Adult Learner Scholarship ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS ● Age 24 and up (as of August 21, 2020) Reside in 6 eligible counties: Wyandotte & Johnson ● (KS) - Cass, Clay, Jackson & Platte (MO) Low- or modest-income (12,000 or less on FAFSA) ● ● Previously earned at least 12 credits at an accredited, Title IV, postsecondary institution & has not earned a degree OR have previously earned an associate degree & will use the scholarship to earn a bachelor’s degree ● Lawfully present in the U.S. or DACA eligible and DACA applied/approved Arfon, UMKC 2

v Adult Learner Scholarship SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS ● Up to 200 awards ● Up to $5,000/year paid directly to the college, renewable up to five years ● Can enroll full-time or part-time Funding support begins Fall 2020 ● TWO APPLICATION CYCLES ● Early Award – October 1 – November 20 ● General Award – January 1 – February 28 3
