Adult Learner Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Age 24 and up (as of August 21, 2020)
• Reside in 6 eligible counties: Wyandotte & Johnson

(KS) - Cass, Clay, Jackson & Platte (MO)

• Low- or modest-income (12,000 or less on FAFSA)
• Previously earned at least 12 credits at an

accredited, Title IV, postsecondary institution & has not earned a degree OR have previously earned an associate degree & will use the scholarship to earn a bachelor’s degree

• Lawfully present in the U.S. or DACA eligible and

DACA applied/approved

Adult Learner Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

• Up to 200 awards
• Up to $5,000/year paid directly to the college,

renewable up to five years

• Can enroll full-time or part-time
• Funding support begins Fall 2020

TWO APPLICATION CYCLES

• Early Award – October 1 – November 20
• General Award – January 1 – February 28
