SeaGIS & SeaGIS 2 (Interreg IV & V) Main aim (1 st phase): collect all available GIS data that can be used in planning and nature conservation from both Finland and Sweden, and combine it in an open, online GIS-service. Main aim (2 nd phase): address the most crucial data gaps, including HUB-biotopes and data on threats and pressures , and use the data to analyze conservation effectiveness, including areas of conflict. Strong connections to EU directives (incl. state & reporting) and policies (Blue Growth, ecosystem services), as well as national programs (for instance “Green infrastructure”/SWE).
