ILDG Services/Data

• UKQCD continues to provide full range of ILDG services:

– Metadata Catalogue, File Catalogue, Storage Elements, ....

• Data available via ILDG clients:

– Ensembles 1, 2, and 3 are published.

Infrastructure

• Six GridFTP sites in operation:

– Servers are aging, have been some reliability problems (Liverpool, Edinburgh). – expect to introduce SRM storage at RAL in 2010Q3.

• All sites running DiGS 2.0:

– Expect to upgrade to Version 3.0 in 2010Q1.

• ILDG services run on dedicated host:

• UKQCD has funding for new HPC systems, from STFC1:

– Plan to replace existing storage (at six sites) in early 2010. – Also, plans for replacement of QCDOC progressing.

• UKQCD hopes to continue to benefit from GridPP resources:

– Likely to be new SRM-based storage, available from 2010Q3.

• DiGS team has secured funding to add SRM support to UKQCD Grid:

– Some effort also available for ILDG Middleware-related activities. – Project runs Dec ‗09—Nov‘10.
