Your actual residence fees won’t be charged to your account until late August, after room determinations have been made.

The “net cost” view will provide a breakdown, by term, of fees and funding, including OSAP

Net Cost View by term:

• Online banking: set up Nipissing U as a “payee”
• the account # is your 7-digit student ID (no letter!)
• Remember it can take several business days for us to receive your payment
• Print a copy of the confirmation of payment screen as proof you paid
• Debit card
• ensure you have a high enough daily limit to cover your payment
• Cash
• Cheque or Bank Draft (payable to Nipissing University)
• Aeroplan HigherEd points
• redeem Aeroplan miles through HigherEdpoints.com in $250 increments

Paying your fees with OSAP?

• Application should be COMPLETED by August 1
• ALL required documentation must be submitted, including MSFAA
• Check OSAP status online to confirm sufficient funding to cover each fee installment

We will only redirect the installments (for both tuition and residence) due each term!

How can I pay?

This tells you there’s a problem with your file!

“View Documents” will show you a list of all documents approved and/or required

Check the funding summary throughout the year for updates on changes to funding and when it will be paid out. If your grant amount is more than your “estimated tuition” then you are basically getting free tuition – there’s no need to do anything more!

Your fall installment

Jan 2/19 – Jan 4/19

• Half of all awards will be paid toward fees owing in fall

term; the balance is paid against any remaining fees owing in winter term

• Scholarships, bursaries and awards are credited FIRST to

fees owing , then released as a cheque to the student (usually in January)

When are awards paid out?

• Check with your service provider to determine if and when a

specific form must be completed to access RESPs – must be completed by Registrar’s Office

• A Confirmation of Enrolment Letter may be printed from

WebAdvisor - it does not show fees

• Plan in advance how and when to withdraw RESP funds to

maximize tax benefits

around!)
